The XG & XG+ have the look and feel of a luxury car and deliver an exceptional driver experience, but they are very, very quiet. The new DAF XG range sets new standards for low interior noise, helping you stay alert for longer. Operated from the steering wheel, there is a 12” central screen display and a 10” DAF infotainment display screen, allowing you to keep hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. More torsional stiffness, means more precise steering and more intuitive vehicle control at all speeds.

The XG and XG+ driveline has been meticulously redesigned to tackle the challenges of Australia’s duty cycles, optimizing every detail for efficiency, durability, drivability, and manoeuvrability.

The DAF XG Chassis is meticulously designed to offer lightweight construction with exceptional strength, versatility, and efficiency for a wide range of applications. With a wheelbase of 3.90 meters and a rear overhang of 1.37 meters, this chassis provides optimal stability and manoeuvrability, making it ideal for urban and long-haul operations.

With the side member height of 310 mm, the XG Chassis is built to handle heavy loads with ease. Fuel range is enhanced with dual fuel tanks, offering a total capacity of 1,150 litres, complemented by a 130-litre AdBlue® tank to meet stringent emissions standards.

Safety features include Front Underrun Protection (FUP), rear mudguards with spray suppression, and LED work lamps for enhanced visibility. Additional practical elements such as a walk plate and rear of cab grab handles ensure ease of access and convenience.
