PacLease Adelaide has had an exciting year so far in 2018, with a lot of enquiry and interest generated in the market.

We now have six trucks in the Adelaide fleet, with the latest additions being a K200 and a T409, both powered with Cummins engines and Ultrashift transmissions. One of the biggest challenges in fleeting new trucks is anticipating application demand, and so both new trucks have been specified with hydraulics, bull bars and driving lights, as well as being equipped for single, B-Double and road train applications.

A new DAF CF85 will be commissioned shortly, with fuel haul package and the new 1360 DAF rear end with disc brakes, as a versatile 70t B-Double rated truck.

Our new PacLease venture is already experiencing success in a range of South Australian industries, including wind farm construction projects, line-haul, refrigerated transport, harvest and primary production tasks that have seen the trucks work in the SA country and metropolitan areas, as well as interstate. The fleet has accumulated several hundred thousand kilometres this year and has been a great entry into the rental market for the CMV Group as well as helping promote DAF and Kenworth products. In addition, PacLease Adelaide recently secured an operating lease in the road train sector and will be fleeting a new T610 for this task in early November 2018.

We look forward to finishing the year positively and increasing our PacLease fleet size further in 2019.
