The CMV Truck Centre team were excited to recently be able to attend the Brisbane Truck Show and be present for the unveiling of the impressive Kenworth Legend SAR! The Legend SAR is based on legendary Kenworth models from the past and is the third in the series of special edition Kenworths. We are thrilled to celebrate an incredible milestone alongside Kenworth Australia, of whom we are a proud partner for over 50 years. This year marks half a century of Australian commercial vehicle manufacturing for Kenworth Australia, a milestone that has seen more than 70,000 trucks roll off the production line at Bayswater since March 2nd, 1971.

DAF Trucks Australia received the prestigious Good Design Award Best in Class Accolade in the Product Design Automotive and Transport category in recognition for outstanding design and innovation.

Demonstrating its confidence in the Australian transport industry, PACCAR is working to double the size of its factory facility at Bayswater. This project is well underway, with a capital outlay of $37m and is nearing completion. We are proud to be affiliated with PACCAR, and share their vision for a strong transport industry in our country and the pivotal support it brings to our economy.

Last week we had the pleasure of welcoming our valued new apprentices, with their partners and families at our annual Apprentice Welcome & Graduation Evening. We are extremely pleased to welcome Steven Deer, Matthew Henderson, Domenick Keuning, Hayden Melnik and Hayden Wigzell to our workshop. 

Recently we had the pleasure of hosting some of our most valued customers at CMV Truck Centre, for what was a fantastic evening showcasing two highly anticipated new Kenworth models: the all-new T360 and T410.
